Centre Nationale Francais pour la promotion du cheval  Indien Marwari

The French National Center for the promotion of the Marwari horse of India

The CNFPCIM, the French chapter of the IHSI, was formed in 2007 to take up the aegis of the parent society  three years after purchasing their first Marwari horses from Rawal Devendra Singh of Nawalgarh.

The Adam family have pursued the registration and activity of their organisation  in France with unparalled zeal , winning  best stand award for their presentation and promotion of the Marwari  at the salon du cheval in 2008 and  live coverage of this  qualifier race to concur with the ongoing  opening of this years same exhibition, the first time that any race in India  to be televised live.

The Adam family have further selected a professional team of riders to participate in this years race and have donated a large number of equestrian products for this momentous occasion. President of the society Caroline Adam, known as Kali Adam will be competing for the second consecutive year.

All French teams will be riding horses from Rawal Devendra Singh ‘s stables.

Following last years outbreak of equine influenza, the cnfpcim have initiated a programme with the merial laboratories and 3rd year students of veterinary school Maison Alfort to produce medication and vaccinations specifically for the Marwari horses in India.

Treasurer Madame Christine Adam finances the society’s objectives through membership schemes – 387 in 2008 and 328 in 2009 -, the sale of Indian saddlery, donations and riding safaris in India to the major horse fairs of the country.
